Alert LA County delivers free emergency, community and missing person notices generated by authorized county officials. The app also delivers free weather warnings from the National Weather Service to users within the direct path of severe weather. The app is geo-aware, requiring users to turn on their location services so the app may deliver notifications relevant to the user’s current location.
